What content formats can I post in the community?

The following format types are supported in the community:

  • MP4
  • MOV
  • AVI
  • MPEG
  • PNG
  • JPEG
  • JPG

Is it possible to tag a friend?

To mention or tag a user to your post or comment, simply hit the "@" and enter their username. Users who are verified in the community OR those users who've you've added to home will appear in the auto-fill field.

How many pictures can I add to a post?

Each post can have up to 10 pictures.

How do I make a post?

To make a post:

  1. Tap the plus sign in the circle at the bottom of the screen.
  2. The options will pop up at the bottom of the screen to add text, use the camera feature on your phone, make a video on your phone, add photos or videos from your photo gallery on your device, or go live.
  3. Tap the option you'd like to add.
  4. Add the text, photos, or videos to the post.
  5. Tap Post at the top right of the screen.

How do I go live?

  1. Tap the plus sign in the circle at the bottom of the screen.
  2. The options will pop up at the bottom of the screen to add text, use the camera feature on your phone, make a video on your phone, add photos or videos from your photo gallery on your device, or go live.
  3. Tap the live option.
  4. Type a title for your live video. The title is required, and the description is optional.
  5. Choose whether or not you'd like to allow live chat by tapping the toggle at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Options in the top right of the screen include lighting and camera view.
  7. Tap Start Live Video at the bottom of the screen.
  8. A three second countdown will show up on the screen and then the live video will begin.
  9. To end the live video, tap the red record button at the top right of the screen.
  10. A three second countdown will show up on the screen and then the live video will end.

Profile Support

How do I reset my password?

LOGGED IN

To reset your password follow the necessary steps if you are LOGGED IN to your profile.

  1. Select the "⚙" icon next to the "Edit Profile" button on your profile page
  2. Select the "Reset Password" under Account information
  3. You will be emailed a link to reset your password

Note, your password must contain at least 6 characters and include alphanumeric values.

LOGGED OUT

To reset your password follow the necessary steps if you are NOT logged into your profile.

  1. On the welcome screen, tap "LOG IN"
  2. Under the "Password" field select the
  3. You will be prompted to enter your email address on file and then reset your password

How do I manage my notifications?

There are two ways to manage, edit, change or turn off your notifications.

The first way to manage your notifications is to select which notifications you would like to receive from your mobile app settings page:

  1. Select the ⚙ icon next to the "Edit Profile" button on your profile
  2. Select, "Notifications" to manage the specific in-app notifications
  3. From here you can adjust settings for your profile and your posts

The second way to manage your notifications is to do so directly from your device notification settings:

  1. Settings > Notifications > [Mobile App]
  2. From here you have the ability to turn on or off all notifications and the format for which those notifications appear on your mobile device.

Is my email address visible to other members of the community?

No, your email address isn't displayed on your public profile. It is only visible to you via your account settings page.

How do I change my profile picture and cover photo?

To change your profile picture and cover photo:

  1. Tap your profile picture in the circle at the bottom left of the Home Screen.
  2. Tap Edit with the pencil icon beside of it.
  3. Tap the profile picture to change the profile picture. You can add a picture with your Camera on your mobile device, from your Gallery on your mobile device, or you can tap Cancel to keep the same profile picture.
  4. Tap the cover image to change the cover image. You can add a picture with your Camera on your mobile device, from your Gallery on your mobile device, or you can tap Cancel to keep the same cover image.

It is recommended that your profile picture is sized at a 1:1 ratio.

How do I join a Saint Social group?

To join a group:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of the home screen.
  2. Tap Groups.
  3. Enter the name of the group you're looking for in the search bar, then tap Search. Or, scroll through the list of groups and tap the group you’d like to join.
  4. Tap Join.

Depending on the group's settings, you may have to wait for a group admin to approve your request. Hidden Groups you're not a member of won't appear in search results. When you join a group, members of the group will see that you're a member. Non-members may also see that you're a member, depending on the group's privacylevel.

How do I post to a Saint Social group?

To post to a group:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of the home screen.
  2. Tap the group you'd like to post in. All groups you follow will be shown like this example:
  3. Tap the plus sign at the bottom of the screen.

From here, you can write a post, share photos or video, tag people, and go live.

How do I invite new members to a Saint Social group?

To invite new members to a group:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of the home screen.
  2. Tap Groups.
  3. Search for the group name you're looking for, or scroll through the list of groups and tap the group you'd like to send the invite from.
  4. Tap the i in the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Tap INVITE at the top of the screen.
  6. Tap your choice of email, messages, Facebook, messenger, etc. to send the invite link.
  7. Enter the person’s contact info and send.

How do I leave a Saint Social group?

To leave a Saint Social group:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of the Home Screen.
  2. Tap the name of the group that you'd like to leave. Here's an example of what the groups that you’re a part of will look like.
  3. Tap the i in ******upper right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap MY SETTINGS in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
  5. Tap Leave Group.

Messaging

How do I send a message on Saint Social?

To send a message:

  1. Tap the comment bubble at the top right of the home screen.
  2. Scroll through and select the person to message from the previous people you have messaged or click the comment bubble with the plus sign at the top right of the screen to search for the person you would like to message.
  3. Tap the name of the person you would like to message and press Start.
  4. Tap the Chat… box at the bottom of the screen and begin writing your message.
  5. Tap the plus sign beside of the chat box to access picture, video, and GIF options to add to the message.
  6. When your message is ready to send, tap the arrow to the right of the comment box

Who can I send messages to on Saint Social?

In order to send messages on Saint Social, both members must be following each other.

Your messages won't reach people who have blocked you.

How do I message more than one person at once on Saint Social?

To message more than one person at once:

  1. Tap the comment bubble in the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Tap the comment bubble with the plus sign in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Type the names of the people you want to add to your chat in the search bar or select them from the list.
  4. When you have selected all the people you would like to add to the message, tap Start.
  5. Type your message in the Chat… bar, then click the send arrow.

How do I leave a group message on Saint Social?

To leave a group message and to stop receiving messages in a group message:

  1. Tap the comment bubble at the top right of the Home Screen.
  2. Tap the group message you'd like to leave.
  3. Click the gear wheel at the top right of the screen.
  4. Under Permissions, tap the toggle to the right of Allow Messaging. The toggle will go from green to gray, and you will no longer receive messages from that group message.

To receive messages from that group message again, simply tap the Allow Messaging toggle again. The toggle will be green and you will receive messages again from that group message.

How many people can I add to a message?

You can add up to 100 users into a group message at the time of creation.

How do I find my settings?

To find your settings:

  1. Settings are found in your profile. To get to your profile you can:
  • Tap your profile picture at the bottom right side of your screen. Or,
  • Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of your screen. Click Profile.

How do I change my preferred email address for communication?

To change your preferred email address:

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Email Address.
  3. Tap on your current listed email address to edit your email.
  4. Tap Save Changes.

How do I change my password?

To change your password:

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Password.
  3. Tap the Reset option at the bottom of the page.
  4. If you don't want to change your password, tap Cancel.

How do I adjust my notifications settings?

To change your notifications settings:

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Scroll through to see notifications options for Community Notifications, Posts You’re Subscribed To, Members You’re Subscribed To, Your Profile, Your Posts, and Group Chats.
  4. If the toggle is highlighted in black, that means that you are receiving those notifications. To turn a notification on or off, tap the toggle. When the toggle is gray, that means that notifications have been turned off.

How do I find my list of blocked members?

To find your list of blocked members:

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Account & Data.
  3. Tap Blocked Members

How do I download my data?

To download your data:

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Account & Data.
  3. Tap Request Data Download.
  4. Tap Download at the bottom of the screen. Or, tap Cancel if you choose not to download you data.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account:

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Account & Data.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Tap the Delete Account toggle. It will turn black.
  5. Tap Delete Account Forever.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Cancel any recurring subscriptions and consider requesting data download as you will no longer be able to login to this account as it will no longer exist.

How do I find the terms, policies, and licenses?

To find the terms, policies, and licenses:

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Terms, Policies, Licenses.
  3. Choose and tap Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Policy, or Licenses.

How do I find debug information?

  1. Go to settings. Settings can be found by tapping the gear wheel in your profile page.
  2. Tap Debug Information.
  3. Options will pop up to Copy to Clipboard, Share Logs, or Close.

How do I find the Saint Social support page?

To find the Saint Social support page:

There are two ways to find the Saint Social support page:

  • Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of the screen. Tap Help Center at the bottom of the screen.

How do I log out?

To log out:

There are two ways to log out of Saint Social:

  • Tap the hamburger menu at the top left of the screen. Tap LOG OUT at the bottom of the screen.

  • Tap your profile picture in the circle at the bottom right of the screen. Tap the gear wheel in your profile page. Tap Log Out at the bottom of the screen.

How do I search for verified users and their posts?

To search for verified users and their posts:

  1. Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.
  2. You can scroll the VERIFIEDS to see all verified users and their posts.
  3. To search for a specific verified user, tap the search bar at the top of the screen. Scroll the listed verified and choose or type the name in the search bar.

How do I search for featured posts?

To search for featured posts:

  1. Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Swipe left to find FEATURED.
  3. You can scroll FEATURED to see all featured posts.

How do I search for trending users and trending posts?

To search for trending users and trending posts:

  1. Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Swipe left until you find TRENDING.
  3. You can scroll TRENDING to see all trending users and trending posts.

How do I search for new users, new posts, and new hashtags?

To search for new users, posts, and hashtags:

  1. Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Swipe left until you find NEW.
  3. You can scroll NEW to see all new users, posts, and hashtags.

How do I search for all-time most popular posts?

To search for all-time most popular posts:

  1. Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Swipe left until you find ALL-TIME.
  3. You can scroll ALL-TIME to see the all-time most popular posts.

How do I search for groups?

To search for groups:

  1. Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap the search bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap the Groups category.
  4. Scroll through groups to view all of them, or type the group name in the search bar.
